My favorite dish is Japchae. It is made of cellophane noodles and is stir-fried with lots of vegetables or with meat. It is my favorite because it is a very flexible menu and can be served to anyone whether or not he or she is a vegetarian. However, it is not easy to cook Japchae. Because of its difficulties, whenever I serve Japchae, I want people to think that I care about them very much. It is one of the ways for me to show my feelings to the people I care about. Japchae can be eaten in all kinds of seasons and events, but usually during festivals and celebrations. It is because Japchae is a dish that symbolizes happiness and longevity.
