Good morning Emily.  It has been snowing since this afternoon. And it is Friday. Do you have plans this weekend? I just want to rest at my home because it was a hard week for me. We have to finish a project in 3 weeks and give a presentation to our supervisor. I think my family does not like it. Yesterday we talked about hiking. Do you remember that? I hiked 태백 mountain with my family on the last day of 2013 to celebrate the New Year. The mountain is located in Kangwon-Do of Korea and it is a holy mountain for Koreans. Our ancestors preyed on the mountain. My coworker said that it is not hard for children to hike the mountain. I believed that day was a very cold and windy day. We put on heavy winter clothes and hats to protect us from the cold and wind. It takes about 2 hours for a man to arrive at the peak of the mountain. But my son was only 9 years old. He looked cold during the hike. After 30 minutes of hiking, he wanted to stop hiking and go down. So I persuaded him to go to the peak. I said if you  to go to the peak I will buy you la-myoun. La-meon is a Korean instant noodle. It is my son's favorite food. Usually my wife doesn't give it to him because it's unhealthy. Finally, he arrived at the peak. We were very happy except for my son. I hope that it will be a good memory someday. Snowed Mountain was very impressive. I want to hike it again when winter comes this year.
