I received a phone call from the Korea Foundation for Advanced Studies. The staff of the foundation said they don’t provide scholarships for with people who earned degrees in abroad, so I’m not eligible for the scholarship. Absolutely it’s This is not good news because I spent a lot much amount of time and contributed great efforts on preparing for the exam and applying for the scholarship. So I was somewhat disappointed about this situation. But I tried to keep my composure and settle myself down. I know many things happened unexpectedly in our life. Sometimes we can’t control everything with our plans. In this case, there is a comment in the frequently asked questions (FAQ) sections. That  It indicates that scholarship opportunity is not open to the people who earned undergraduate or graduate degrees in abroad.

John - I was so sorry to hear about this because I know how hard you have worked.  All I can say is don't give up hope. There may be another opportunity in your future.
